Narrative Charts - Mixed Media

These paintings are inspired by the charts themselves - old markings of land, water and sky that to me, tell a story.  With paint, ink, pastel, paper and found objects, I interpret this story as I see it.  There are themes and images of the Northwest landscape that will resonate with those who know the area.  My goal is to bring life to the cartographer's drawing.
